Sometimes what’s supposed to happen and what actually happens are two different things. As I scrambled out the house, running late because I couldn’t find my keys; I knew today was on of those days.

I arrived a couple minutes late and missed most of a @Vice led warm up on this rainy, chilly morning so I know it wasn’t what I had planned. In an attempt to make up for my lost time, I hurried the pax over to the covered walkway near the front of the school. Upon arrival we moseyed to the far end while I (too) slowly sketched out our plan. The pax were patient and tolerant and partnered up for the following shared exercises:

50 Manmakers
100 Inverted Rows
150 prisoner squats
200 HR Merkins
250 WWII’s
300IC SSH
250 Monkey Humpers
200IC Freddie Mercury’s
150 Merkins
100 burpees
50 Absolutions

While Partner 1 began the above exercises, P2 (the timer) ran to the garbage can on the near end of the walkway where he began bear crawling back to P1. When P2 reached P1, they switched places each completing their share of reps while their partner traveled back and forth. The pax diligently powered through the above alternating with crab and lunge walks instead of bear crawls since most of us were having a hard time lifting ourselves off the ground after all the hand release merkins. Time ran out on my overly ambitious pyramid ending with WWII’s.
