The best part of F3 is that these are some good dudes. I'm like, here's my idea for the workout today, everybody nods their heads, rolls up their sleeves and dives in. No whining, no complaining, not like the students I've been dealing with, but more on that in a minute.

MOLESKIN
I encouraged folks to "have a short memory". This week I've dealt with two very upset college students and their families. These students didn't get the "cool" campus job they wanted or a "high-level" position in a student org, so they reached out to me to complain and generally hassle me, TBH. They wanted me to do something about it. My response, "have a short memory".
I heard a sports psychologist talk about dealing with professional MLB players that were in a slump. She said the difference between those who stayed in a slump and those that got out, was the better players had a short memory. Meaning, they pushed through the setbacks, the "failures", the rejections, and tackled the next obstacle without letting the previous situations hold them back. If we have this mentality in our lives, in our relationships (not holding grudges), my guess is we'll make progress and live more fulfilled.
