Something to remember with school starting back is how hard it can be on the kids getting back to a daily 8 hr grind. I have to remind myself that I can be just as tired and exhausted after a long day of work especially following a vacation. Just keep in mind when they come home it can be a safe space for them because we know how hard they have been trying at school and sometimes they need to just get all those emotions out when they get back. They will eventually settle into the routine but for now patience and understanding are key.
