There was nothing too special to base the workout around today in history so YHQ decided to celebrate the fact that we were meeting up on the 133rd day of 2021. In honor of this not so special day, we did 133 reps of a few simple and old school exercises. Cosmo stirred up some great mubblechatter right up front that flowed through to the end of workout based on his research of the number 133 and how it was mathematically considered a happy number.
Warm up:
10x Side Shuffle Hops
10x Willie Mays Hayes
10x Slow Merkins
10x Iron Squats
10x Seal Claps
10x Overhead Claps
The Thang:
YHQ setup 7 lit cones around a soccer field and led the PAX through 19 reps at each cone with the following exercises. Mode of travel between each cone was something between a mozy and sprint.
- Merkins
- Bent over Rows (with rocks from the pile and travelling with rock over head)
- World War II
We cleansed our palates a bit from the high rep counts by sprinting through all the cones and back to start. Finished off the high rep count workout with 60x Rock Curls and 54x Rock Trickep Extensions
After returning the rocks to the pile, we circled up for Mary and did a 10 count Plank Ring of Fire alternating between Regular, Left Arm High, Right Arm High.
