To YHC, Monday’s are critical transition days and it’s important to transition in the best and strongest way possible. YHC believes in kicking the week of right. In prepping for today’s Q the focus behind the planning was to come up with something that when announced would raise doubt of achieving but once under way all PAX would see they were capable…..you know, mind over matter.
Here’s what 9 strong PAX did:
Warm up – 5 minutes (SSH, overhead clap, arm circles both directions, shoulder tap merkins, backwards run up Whitford)
Part I
200 merkins OYO
Every time a PAX breaks, they do:
- 5 burpees
- 10 LBCs single count
- 15 BW squats
Mosey past the track to Frank Basset Drive straight away.
Part II
12 total sets alternating b/t 1 & 2 | 60 seconds on 30 seconds rest
- 200m run & AMRAP Air Squats
- 20 tuck jumps & alternating sets b/t merkins and dips
PAX have 60 seconds to complete a 200m run and accumulate as many air squats as possible in the remainder of the time.
Rest 30 seconds before PAX start into the second combo of 20 tuck jumps and max merkins or dips.
Perform 6 sets of each combo (12 total sets).
Time got us but PAX pushed crazy hard and got 10 of 12 sets. STRONG!
Back to start right on time for COT.
Celebrations – Funyun’s job interview today at 11am.
Prayers – Teachers and all that’s on them in going back to school with a whole lotta unknown.
Announcements – YHC urged the PAX to sign up for the upcoming IronPAX challenge.
YHC took us out. Always an honor and privilege to lead. Thank you F3.
