Mile. Burpees. Mile. Burpees. (Simple doesn’t mean easy)

4 PAX posted for a leisurely ruck around SV in the early darkness. What started as a simple walkabout added the bonus movements of 10 merkins or 10 BWS at each .1 mile of distance covered. This was a simple warmup for what lay ahead as the other PAX began rolling into the Bastille parking lot.
While some arrived well-prepared (#sleeveless) to honor the memory of Cheech from F3Lexington – others modified their t-shirts with some handy kitchen shears. Job #1: accomplished.
A quick warm up of SSH (x40 IC), BWS (x20 SC), WMH (x10 IC) & Merkins (x20 SC) prepared us for the simple moves of the next 45 minutes.
Following discussion at last night”s 2ndF regarding the PT test the men of the April 2017 F3 Custom Heavy/Heavy had to complete at the start of H2 (the 2nd Heavy) – it reminded YHC that I”ve wanted to run this during a ME for a while now. Today was the day.
Those guys had just completed 28-29 hours of good-livin” at the hands of their 3 GoRuck cadre with logs, rucks & various other PT (MARTA was one of those hearty PAX to finish H1).
Their time hack: 32 minutes This was merely our ME for the morning.
The Thang
1 mile run (out and back; done as a full group at first to establish the route)

Prayers to Cheech”s family for the tragic loss of his life. Reminder to each of us of the importance and responsibility of looking out for one another while also remembering to treat each moment as previous.
We only have now; tomorrow is not guaranteed. We pray to take our momentum from the morning into the day and impact those around us in positive ways.
