HERO Workout: “Bull”
In honor of “Bull”, we performed his endurance workout modified to use Kenan Stadium. Plates and dumbbells were positioned at the tunnels of the stadium (top of aisles of stairs). Pax started on one end of the stadium. Perform 20 dips, then run up the stadium steps, perform 20 overhead squats / thrusters, run over to the next tunnel, box-jump down to the bottom. Repeat until completed an entire side of the stadium.
7 aisles running up x 84 stairs = 588 stairs
7 aisles box-jumping down x 84 stairs = 504 box-jumps
20 overhead squats / thrusters (alternating) at the top of stairs x 7 = 140 squats / thrusters
20 dips at the bottom of the stairs x 7 = 140 dips

HERO workouts help us remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Help the Special Ops Survivor Project. Major Payne has organized an event at Top of the Hill on June 9th, 7-9pm (TOPO is donating a $1 per beer) and a fundraiser. Finally, thank a veteran the next time you see one. Help them remember that we appreciate what they do.
