Warm up:
Run at moderate pace across Hooker Fields.
Main event:
Fast run around the perimeter of campus plus the Gimghoul loop, with periodic stops to enjoy notable local landmarks (Carolina Inn, Franklin Street, Forest Theatre, Gimghoul), followed by “KB Sprints”. Approx 4.5 total miles, 90 KB reps, and 360 reps of various calisthenics.
1. Fast pace run from Hooker Fields to Carolina Inn. [20x Merkins; 20x Burpees; 20x Body Weight Squats]. Fast run around Carolina Inn, back to Columbia St and to Franklin St near University Methodist. [20x Merkins; 20x Burpees; 20x Wall Dips]. Fast run from Franklin Street to Park and to the back of Forest Theatre. [Box Jump to Top; 20x Wall Dips; 20x Body Weight Squats]. Fast run around Glandon and to the end of Gimghoul. [20x Merkins; 20x WWII; 20x Body Weight Squats]. Run back to Hooker Fields. [Approx 4.0 Miles]
2. 8x 100-yard sprints, alternating 30x kettle bell reps and 30x reps of calisthenics (merkins/burpees/LBCs/WWIIs/Etc) every 100 yards. Originally planned to be 32, 100-yard sprints with 16 KB stations and 16 calisthenics stations, this was cut short due to the last minute addition of the Gimghoul loop as noted above. [Approx 0.5 Miles of sprints]
