PAX: Food Lion, Grizz, Moxie, Riggs, Wild Thing, Rev Run, Stinkbomb (FNG, hahaha), Doogie, Te”o, Sweats, Shake It, Schwinn, Red October, Funny Money… this is the problem with doing your post 3 days later (there were 21!)

YHC sent out the call last weekend for a newb to take the reigns of TBL and run with it… to my delight, we had two step up. Red October and Moxie (yes, the 8 year old) stepped up to the plate and with the expert guidance from yours truly, the three of us set out to bring the pain.
EC: 4 pax rumbled around Hope Valley for a 5 mile run while 3 rucked 3 miles
The Thang, 21 pax strong (including 1 FNG)
First 20 – Red October
Lap around the soccer field, SSH, IWs, air squats, merkins… all were warm
Next mosey on over to the hill
Backwards run up the hill, 20 merkins, back down, 20 dips
Why not do it again? backwards run up the hill, 15 merkins, back down, 15 dips
(Don”t worry, YHC did his dips next to Te”o so you know my technique was on point)
Second 20 – Moxie
Mosey back to the soccer field
10 merkins, 10 burpees, 10 air squats – repeato x3
(Moxie pointed out that he was worried this would be too easy for the group… it wasn”t…)
Mosey over to the playground for a 5 station circuit:
20 pullups, back bends, swing rows, derkins, dive bomber merkins
(This kid is sick… sick…)
Third 20 – YHC
Now everyone was ready to relax
Mosey to the lower soccer field – walking lunge the length, plank it out
Plyometrics (high knees, butt kickers)
Bear crawl to half field and back
Mosey to the top field for plank holds around the circle to finish it out

– Great job by Red October and Moxie on their VQs – you”d never know it was their first time. Tclaps to Food Lion for taming Moxie – I believe he would have murdered us if left to his own devices
