16 PAX showed up to the Vortex on a cold morning. No better way to ward off the cold than to keep moving for 45 minutes straight. That was the plan.
Warmup:
One lap, SSH, Willie Mays Hayes, Squats, Merkins, Slow merkins
The Thang:
Lineup along baseline of field. 2 PAX head to the playground for a max set of pull-ups. When they return, the next two go. This continues throughout while the other PAX are exercising.
Suicides to cover length of two fields with 4 lines to touch and return:
Suicide 1: 15 merkins to start and then 15 more every time you return to the start line
Suicide 2: straight up
Suicide 3: 10 WWII”s to start and every time you return to the start line
Suicide 4: straight up
Suicide 5: 5 burpees to start and every time you return to the start line
Next, we begin a constant set of movement. YHC calls out the method for travelling across one field and back. PAX keep moving back and forth until further instructions. YHC occasionally calls out burpees and everyone completes 10 and then returns to their travelling. We started with lunge walks, moved to bear crawl and finished with sprints. 30 burpees were performed during this set.
