How do you celebrate 9 months of a site launch? Chopping up a cedar tree, wood burning F3 into it, and loading up a minivan full of coupons of course!

The inspiration for this anniversary Q came from the recent Chapel Hill GoRuck Tough challenge where ~10 Churham Pax crushed it. YHC wanted to bring a taste of the fun up to the Northern Province so the minivan was loaded with kettlebells and GoRuck plates.

Warm-up

With early construction work on Churton it was a lazy start morning so we stayed by the flag and stretched it out as the Pax came rolling in hot.

• Middle stretch 10 count
• Left leg stretch 10 count
• Right leg stretch 10 count
• Willie Maze Haze 10 count
• Little Baby Arm Circles 10 count and reverse

The Thang

The Pax unloaded the minivan for the first evolution.

0.5 Mile Time Hack- Take 1

• 3 men on the log
• 1 man carrying 2 kettlebells
• 1 man carrying 6 wrapped bricks (needed to be in motion at all times doing an exercise like curls, etc)
• 1 man carrying GoRuck plate + flag
• 1 man carrying GoRuck plate (needed to be in motion at all times)

We walked up to Durham Tech and put down the weight by the flag. Unfortunately, we did not make the 10 minute time hack so it was time for burpees!

• 6 count burpees (10)
• 10 burpees as fast as you can

0.5 Mile Time Hack- Take 2

We rotated weight and carried all coupons back to the starting point. Success!  No penalty burpees, but we did go a bonus .2 miles down to the park.

Log PT + Sprints

2 men on the log doing shoulder presses  while the rest of the Pax:

• sprinted down the soccer field
• reverse ran back

We cycled through all the pairs and then did another round but this time while the 2 men on the log did shoulder presses the remaining Pax:

• reverse ran down the field
• and then sprinted back

This smoked YHC so it was time to go back to Old Glory.

Mary

We carried the coupons but left the new log at a super secret spot at the park for future Qs. It was an abbreviated Mary as made it back to the flag and held a perfect plank hold to burn the core.
