Stop 3/25 on the Master Q Trail for YHC.     YHC offered to Pinch Hit Q for Assisi as he is on the mend.   For those of you who don’t know about Wally Pipp or what it means to be Wally Pipped I offer up this:

Wally Pipp was the first Yankee to lead the American League in home runs.  Pipp is considered to be one of the best power hitters of the dead ball era in baseball. Pipp is now best remembered as the man who lost his starting role to Lou Gehrig at the beginning of Gehrig’s streak of 2,130 consecutive games. Due to his famous replacement by Gehrig, players began to say they were “Wally Pipped” when replaced in a lineup, especially if it is due to a minor injury.

YHC does not believe for one minute that he will “Wally Pipp” Assisi in any way, so get well Assisi and come back soon.

1 PAX traversed Snake Infested neighborhoods on an EC Ruck.   He made it back alive to tell tales and post pictures.   Well done.

26 PAX, including 2 FNG’s showed up for the ME.

WARM UP: SSH x20, MTN Climbers X 20, Arm Circles FWD and REV X10, WMH X10, IWx15 all IC.

Main Event: Run 1/2 way around church, 5 Burpees, Run to Iron Pile and select a coupon.   Run with Coupon to Circle and Pair Up.

1st Lap: Partner 1 Runs 1 lap around church, Partner 2 curls the coupon.   Switch after Partner 1 returns.

2nd Lap:  Same as the first except Shoulder Presses with the Coupon

3rd Lap: Same as the first except Body Weight Squats with the Coupon.

After completion SSH until all finish.

SEA STORY SIDE NOTE:  While in the Navy we would store mooring lines under the main engines.   To access these lines would require a Bear Crawl in and because there was not enough room to turn around, one would have to Crawl Bear out.   YHC also attended the same High School as Paula Abdul (not at the same time unfortunately) so we combined an exercise: Bear Crawl / Crawl Bear Paula Abdul Style.  ( Shake It also recommended this configuration. )     This required the PAX to Bear Crawl 2 parking spaces and Crawl Bear back 1 space.  Repeato until all PAX reached the first island.   Lunge Walk back to the bottom Island.   Return Coupons to resting place and circle up for some Mary.

Prayers for all recovering in Houston, for Assisi on a speedy recovery (although his legs seems to work ok), for PAX who have family in the Hospital / Recovering from illness.
