7 gathered at City Hall for a maximum rep workout, replete with a city stroll.

How you do one thing is how you do everything.  Approach life with this in mind and it will take you far.  It does not always have to be max effort, but sometimes it should be.   Today, for these Varsity 7, it would be.  The reps did not have to be high, but we were not going to take any reps off.

After warming up, we moseyed to the Bull statue across from Pour.  There, we executed the following exercises, each for one minute, no rest, to achieve our max reps goal:  merkins; burpees; alternating jump lunges.

Next, we travelled to the hill near Aloft.  Here, we executed the following movements, respectively, for one minute, no rest: crawl bear up, bear crawl down; backwards run up, crab walk down; broad jump up, jog down; one-legged bear crawl up, one-legged bear crawl down.

After jogging to the fountains outside of DBAP, we executed the following exercise for one minute, max reps, no rest, successively: box jumps; derkins; split squats.

We gave an all-out effort on the hill surrounding the old Ford dealership up to the bus depot, moseyed back to City Hall, and finished with Mary: flutter kicks, LBCs, lateral leg raises, and some stretching.

Thanks to Coxswain for the invitation to Q.  That’s how it’s done.

Great coffeeteria afterwards at Bruegger’s on 9th St.  Bitcoin graced us with a Starsky.  Shake It regaled us with tales of long runs and no pain, we countered with tales of long runs and lots of aches.
