12/22/2021 The King’s Dominion – Christmas music only a person who gets up at 430am could love

December 22, 2021

WHEN: 12/22/2021
QIC: Reindeer Games
PAX: Bellhop, Castaway, Count Chocula, Dry Rub, Fiddlestick, Lap Lane, My Little Pony, Prancing Horse, Swamp, and Yunus
ME HEADCOUNT: 10
EC HEADCOUNT: 2
COFFETERIA HEADCOUNT: 6

This morning we have a co-Q situation (not The Situation he still aging poorly in New Jersey somewhere) inspired by all of Santas reindeer. But before we started that we had to for an EC holiday decorations ruck a little over 2 miles of wandering through Chancellors Ridge taking in the inflatables and the epileptic lights.
Fiddlestick began the first half Q duties where during our work out such philosophical questions were posed such as if bad Christmas music plays in the forest and nobody’s there to hear it does it really exist? and is Castaway ready for his cameo on Project Runway?
Warmarama:
A quick dispensing of the required “I am not a professional” and crowd scanning for FNGs, sadly none in attendance. A mostly quick 8 IC exercises each of (The same number of Santa’s original tiny reindeer, what a coincidence!):
Side shuffle hop
good mornings
Willie Mays Hayes
Imperial walkers
Little baby arm circles (frontward and reverseward)
and then The always popular burpees OYO

The Thang:
The bad Christmas music playlist began and we decided to work our way through the eight tiny reindeer.
Dasher – several down and back movements including high knees, high skips, the dash of course, and backwards Dash
Dancer – IC Break dancer Merkins followed by he always popular and underappreciated safety dances.
Prancer – prancing involves springing forward from your hind legs. While murder bunnies were considered, a down and back broad jump is how we honored Prancer
(in the background A song titled Disco Santa to the tune of macho man by by the village people hummed along)
Vixen – definition: a female fox, in slang a spirited or fierce woman
here the Pax formed a plank line. While holding plank the end of the line Pax hopped up and picked a mode of travel that gets them hot and bothered traveling the length of the pax to join the far end of the plank line while the Pax shuffled their planks to start. while many traveled via crab walk, or bear crawl, or lunch walk, this is where Castaway debuted his Saunter. Paired with his smoldering calendar pict pose from #Tobacco Road confirms he is ready for prime time.

A little ahead of schedule and with a lot of time to fill this is where the Q was handed off to Bellhop.

next reindeer up, Comet. what does a comet do but it streaks across the sky. Ricky Bobby a nice lap around the AO to an appropriate amount of grumble chatter.
Cupid – since Cupid is all about love and closeness, Bellhop decided we needed a little togetherness. A couple of rounds of Ring of fire Merkins from the Pax. as we held plank rotating from reg-u-lar, to right side, to left side, to low the pax took turns with 5 merkins counted in about every language but Klingon.
Donner & Blitzen. Thunder & Lightning. The backs engaged in three jump squats followed by a sprint to the next island, then three jump squats followed by a sprint to the next island, then shockingly three jump squats followed by a sprint to the next island, rinse and repeat.

what’s this we worked our way through the eight tiny reindeer but there’s more time left. We couldn’t leave out the most famous reindeer of all….. Rudolph was honored with realms of hand release Merkins with that nose so bright touching the ground each time. The Pax did this while searching multiple corners for the most appropriate place to honor Rudolph.
when we ended up at the wall. Bellhop decided we need to make sure we got swole in case Santa needed us to unload his sleigh. this was achieved by multiple rounds of dips, johnny dramas, and erkins.
After getting appropriately swole, we moseyed back to the music just in time for the classic Merry Christmas from the Family by Rober Earl Keen

Mary:
A mixture of World War II, LBC‘s, and frontward and backward box cutters were the flavor of the day.

being the gracious Q that he is, Bellhop returned us two minutes of our day by wrapping up at 6:13am.

Prayer Requests:
continued prayers for all of our Frontline healthcare workers and the good work by BigKat and Boucher to get care packages together for them and present them this past week.
also for CrashCart’s family and his 2.0 (who is home!).

Bellhop took us out. Aye!
