I love Absolutions. They are an incredible exercise combing all sorts of key motions into a complicated flow that I never get straight. As I start my 48th trip around the sun, I need to keep things simple and I need help when they get complicated. In that spirit, today’s TBR was back to basics and required an assist from the inestimable Spam.

For WarmUp, we did a side-shuffle hop inspired exercise followed by an F3 classic followed by a burpee:
SSH Good Morning
SmurfSH Willy Mays Hayes
Cheerleader Harvester
up straddle hop windmills
Fairy Jack arm circles
cotton eyed joe burpees
plank jacks peter parkers
seal jacks slow squats
Star Jacks wide grip merkins
Jackees slow merkins
Split Squat Jack diamond merkins
Crossover jacks dry dock
Snowman groiners

After that WarmUp, it was time for the Thang. We moved to the practice area next to Dorrance to alternate putting our testicles and our butts against the wall.

We then mosey-ed back to the AO for Mary – we did a side-shuffle hop inspired exercise followed by an F3 classic followed by a burpee:
Snowman groiners
Crossover jacks dry dock
Split Squat Jack diamond merkins
Jackees slow merkins
Star Jacks wide grip merkins
seal jacks slow squats
plank jacks parker peters
cotton eyed joe burpees
With some extra burpees mixed in.
Red October then went way out of his comfort zone for a boatload of flutter kicks and heels to heaven.
We ended with a final burpee to get us to 47.

A special shout out to the Betas who, despite going at it for the previous 9 hours, kept it up for one with us.

COT: “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! … And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
