TBR faithful arrived to find their fields covered in giant Jack-o-lanterns surrounded by body parts and buckets of bones. Bump draft warmed up the pax before the Reaper’s arrival.

The Thang:

Part A: March through the Graveyard

Mosey to the graveyard. Two paths in the graveyard had flickering candles on each side of the path about every five paces.

Split into four teams. Four corners style workout in the graveyard. When moving “North,” bearcrawl and 2 merkins at each light. When moving “South,” monster walk (similar to toy solider but with both arms in front) and 2 squats at each light. When moving “East” or “West,” 10 burpees then run to the next path.

Two full rounds, then mosey back to the field.

Part B: Bone yard competition

Split into two teams and partner up with a member of your team. Retrieve body parts and bones from the far side of the field. Body parts are worth 2 points but require 5 burpees before grabbing one. Bones are worth one point and require 5 merkins before grabbing one. Take turns running with your partner. Partner that stays does AMRAP squats or lunges.

In addition, if you are in the middle of the field when a timer goes off then two penalty burpees.

Team one won the first round.

Round 2 – switched to crab walk but otherwise same rules.

Team two won the second round.

Part C: Reaper’s Outdoor Theatre

Run to the Reaper’s Outdoor Theatre. Box jump up the theatre. Repeat-o.

Run back to Hooker Field.

Circle up for Mary. Only time for two quick Halloween movements.

Circle of Trust – Prayers for Officer Bob and Pastor for their quick recovery from physical attack.
