Today marked the triumphant return of North Durham Legend ShakeIt, fresh off of his scorching time at the Chicago marathon. Great to have him back in the mix at #hurricanrana

The THANG

This part of the workout used today's date (10-12-2022) as a loose format. There were groups of 4 related exercises and the PAX did 10,12,20,22 reps of them. They were:
Heart Rate Things: smurf jacks (10 IC), high knees (12, IC), buttkickers (20 IC), SSH (22 IC)
Travel Things (measured in # of parking spots in place of reps): bear crawl, lunge walk, backwards run, karaoke
Plank Things: Maktar Ndiaye, merkin, mountain climber, plank jack
Johnny Drama Things: straight single leg (5&5) , bent knee single leg (6&6) , two straight legs, two legs bent knee
Rail things: derkin, erkin, derkin taps (20 IC), dips

This part of the workout was based on the road trip game "going on a trip" or whatever it is called. The first PAX said "I Q'd Hurricanrana and we did…" and selected an exercise to do one rep of. The next PAX repeated that and then added an exercise with 2 reps. This pattern continued and each subsequent PAX had to remember the exercises from before and then select a new one to do one additional rep of. We made it all the way around the circle of 10.
