Being away for two weeks showed as I stumbled through my first Q in a few weeks. The pax were patient and understanding as we worked through the following:
Warm up:
10 IC Hillbilly
10 IC WMH
10 IC Windmills
10 IC Squats
5 Inch Worms w/ merkin
Main Event:
Let the bodies hit the floor – Drowning Pool. Complete a burpee each time you hear floor. Side shuffle hop when not doing burpees
Happy – Pharrell. Do a candlestick each time you hear Happy. Side shuffle hop when not doing candlesticks
Line up at near end cones for beep test. Commence running back and forth between cones, 20 meters apart at each beep. After failing twice, the runner is eliminated.
Two minutes to complete four burpees, eight Merkins and 12 squats. Rest until end of two minute period. Modified after round 1 to 5,10,15. Modified again to reduce time to 1:30 to complete 3 burpees, 6 merkins and 9 squats. Suggestion to go to 4,8,12 was met with indignation, some participation. Completed 7-8 rounds, I think.
I get knocked down – Chumbawumba. Complete a burpee each time you hear knocked down . Side shuffle hop when not doing burpees
