Warm Up – Typical Stuff

BLOCK & ROLL

Partner up. Each team secures one block. One HIM performs block exercise while other HIM performs movement across the parking lot. Upon “movement” HIM’s return, flap jack. Then rinse & repeat so that each man gets to perform two series of block exercises and two series of movements per round.

1. Yanni Merkins (one hand on block, one on ground. Do a merkin. Switch hand positions & do another merkin. Continue in alternating fashion) and Bear Crawl.

2. Blockees and Lunge Walk.

3. Curls and Crab Walk.

4. Swings and Crawl Bear.

5. Overhead Press and Traveling Burpee. Due to time, only performed one iteration of this round.

A few years back, YHC Q’d this workout when we had a young, baby-faced HIM finally post for the first time. And since he’s been coming back ever since and completely dominating everything in sight, I take 110% full credit for transforming the indefatigable Splashback into the beast that he is today. I also take 110% credit for not naming him Flounder.

Joking aside, we as Men have the continual obligation of being influencers in our realms. Do not take this power lightly; we can easily be negative influences if we are not vigilant. Stay aware, stay strong and use your powers positively.
