Despite the outlet at our AO's pavillion not having power yet again, crumbling our post-beatdown on-site coffee adventures & Imposter's valiant efforts, we trudged on.
Since the lights were on and we naturally congregated around the pavillion, that's where we started our workout.
Warmups included > SSH + willie mayes hays + mtn climbers + arm circles + leg & calf stretches.
Adjacent to the pavillion is a set wall so we put that sucker to use by executing wall sits to strengthen our knees and erkins, 2 rounds of each.
Next, we mosied towards Thales, stopping at the bike rackes to conduct bike rack-merkins & johny dramas.
Moving on, we arrived at the field next to Thales where we proceeded to play a version of the game learned at TBR recently, which to my knowledge was adopted when Fiddlesticks ventured to the wester part of our beautiful state. While we did not have even #s, we did a variety of 5 on 4, swapping who had 5 and who had 4 and towards the end, we sidelined a PAX for an even match. To summarize the game, there were two teams and two road cones, each cone had a soccer ball on top thanks to Imposter, who also brought the football. The objective is to throw the ball and knock the ball off the cone, however if you received the ball, you could not move and had to throw to a PAX or throw at the ball from where you stood. Also, the cones had ropes around them, you could not enter the rope. If you dropped the ball or if you were scored on, 3 burpees were on the menu.
That took up most of the session so we slow mosied back to the AO where Crotch-Rocket stated that was his favorite mosey yet 🙂
At the AO, there was no time for MARY, so we did announcements, name-o-rama, named Crunchy and ended with a COT.
Gents, thanks for coming out and welcome Crunchy!
