YHC used to be a regular at TBL, but had stopped posting on Saturdays. What better way to get back at it than taking the Q? Or better yet, signing up to be co-site Q? OG Peppermint Pattie had decided to step down and YHC jumped at the opportunity to step up. TBL is a wonderful site and serves a diverse group of PAX.
Warm up: SSH, WMH, IW, HB, ACs, MC, and slow merkin.
The THANG: Modified BLIMPS Pyramid
PAX did different modes of travel around half of the field, stopping at each corner to do a set of BLIMPS exercises, increasing the amount of reps with each stop. First Round: Exercises were 5 Burpees (not escalating b/c YHC doesn't like burpees), 5 Lunges (IC), 5 IW (IC), 5 Merkins (single count), 5 Plank jacks (IC), and 5 Squats (single count). PAX then bearcrawled to the 1st corner and performed the exercises again, but increasing all by a count of 5 (except for the burpees). Next mode of travel was lunge walk, followed by IW, and Mosey.
Second Round: Exercises started at 5 ballerina squats (single count), 5 LBC (IC), 5 Imperial Stormkickers (IC), 5 Makhtar N'Diaye (single count), 5 PP (IC), and 5 SSH (IC) and increased by 5 each stop. Mode of travel was bunny hop, lunge walk, IS, and Super Mario.
