It's easier to be a good rucker than it is to be a good runner. A human can learn to lift a 100-pound sandbag, and then move it a pre-determined distance in a relatively short period of time. Racing a specified distance at a respectable pace is more difficult. This isn't meant to diminish Green Acre's accomplishments as a seasonal rucker. Experienced runners know that maintaining a 6-minute pace for 26.2 miles generally takes years to accomplish. The Rabbits challenge Green to run a marathon during the next year.

I signed up to lead #therabitt about a month ago. Since June of 2021, I've had plantar in my left foot, in addition to trying new medications to try asthma. This was only my third or fourth run since that time–and the first time that I had run more than 3 miles in nine months. Originally, I planned for intervals, but changed it over to miles not knowing how I would hold up.

First mile conversation: truffles, B's father growing truffles, Pookie also grows 'schrooms

Second mile: history, the liberal arts, underemployment in academia

Third mile: plantar fascitiis (the injury of Churham's most recognized leaders), inserts, physical therapy

Fourth mile, Fruit's beard, Beaujolais felt the tempo was difficult to measure, as it was consistently brisk, not too fast, but definitely not a mosey, either

Fifth mile, uphill section

Final mile, Virginia Tech's prowess in the ACC, UVa's loss of O-line recruits, family

Announcements: Cousin Vinny has election signs, Run for Malawi, Rambler Custom Ruck (I added that one here), sign up to Q The Rabbit

COT: the best ruckers are always runners, just ask Quicken and Splashback

Nota bene: Cricket was absent, again; he's marketing Huawei somewhere; several Rabbits raced well on Sunday; Beaujolais' father is apparently not a runner and was absent for his second F3 workout.
