WestEnd is such a great site with such a deep, rich history!…and 61 minutes of #NoRunning!
With Black History Month Finishing up, the Cloudbuster Fundraiser led by Beano, the Celebration of Hargraves Community Center by Carolina Basketball, and the Navy B1 Band integration, and the fact that as long as the sky was clear, we would be treated to a great sunrise from the top of the parking deck!

YHC wanted to provide a Full Body work out!

Mosey to the Green Monster for AMRAP pull ups.  Each PAX did as many quality pullups as possible while calling out a type of merkin for the other PAX to AMRAP (Selfish motive as YHC was trying to get some reps in for the push/pull monthly challenge).  Varieties included – burpees, diamond merkins, wide grip, T Merkins, Carolina Dry Dock, etc.
Mosey to Hargraves Community Center.
Quick background about Hargraves, its history as the B-1 Band barracks and its true community center.  We did some Johnny Dramas IC x 50 and then visited the Navy B-1 Band historical marker at the corner of Roberson and Franklin, then did some marching – lunge walk, frankensteins, etc. down Roberson in honor of the daily march the B-1 Band would take to perform for the opening to every morning for the pre-flight training.
We moseyed back down the trail and to the parking deck.
We ran up each ramp and performed a series of exercises at each end of the deck

We finished on top just as we were treated to a glorious sunrise and had just enough time for some cool down yoga stretch breathing
