The morning rain let-up just in time to kick-off this morning at 5:30am. We started with a basic Warm-o-Rama with 43 SSH (this was a birthday Q), 10 weed pullers, 10 Willie Mayes Haze, 10 windmills, and 10 Imperial Walkers.
In search of dry ground we proceeded to mosey over to Smith Middle School, stopping 7 times along the way to do 6 burpees at each stop for 42 total. Around burpee count 24 PAX started talking about what they were doing at age 24, then age 30, and all the way to 42. Several PAX apparently have led parallel lives spending their 20's in Boston then moving to Chapel Hill in their 30's to make babies.
Once under dry cover the early 90's jams were cranked up and PAX paired up to rotate between several exercises, each time doing as many as they could while their partner completed various modes of short travel. Exercises included Mike Tyson's x2 rounds, Jump Lunge, Air Squat, Should Taps, Wall Sits, Flutter Kicks, Heels to Heaven, and Peter Parkers. Finally, before Ricky Bobbying back to the start, PAX used middle school picnic tables to complete 20 dips in cadence and 20 side step-ups.
We finished up with another round of dips, ring of fire, and some stretching.
In CoT a prayer request was made for a PAX family friend who died this week and their family. Reminder announcements were also made for the Cloudbuster event March 3-5 and CPR refresher courses, details on both in #churham-news.
