YHC’s second trip to Paradise brought out all the Slack-Famous HIMs YHC was starstruck to meet (minus a late Uzi decommit) plus an FNG courtesy of Attaboy & Homegrown Berry.

Thang #1 – The Pavement
PAX divided between parking lots for a pyramid, adding 5 reps and an exercise each round.

Transition: PAX lined up at edge of grass facing the wall. Rebar demonstrated proper traveling burpee form, which PAX ignored and then asked questions about (Maraschino). Did traveling burpees to the wall.
Thang #2 – The Wall
PAX set up for People’s Chair with a 10 count per PAX beginning with Nacho Libre. Enterprising HIMs provided additional challenges during their turn providing an extra helping of beatdown.
PAX then set up for balls to the wall led by FNG (Niblet!). Counts were faster this time, without EC opportunities, YHC deprived Maraschino of his turn accidentally thinking Bump Draft’s count was his (honestly!)
Thang #3 – The Stairs
PAX lined up for single file bear crawl up stairs, stopping at landings for merkins (t-claps to Homegrown for recommendation), then crawl bear down with squat jumps on landings. Spooky lapped the field multiple times.
Thang #4 – Forgotten Presents
PAX lined up on the hill for sprints up, to find Christmas leftover burpees under the tree. PAX completed 4 rounds of increasing burpees before YHC ended the match.
Announcements:
-Attaboy shared story of Mom’s husband transitioning to hospice care and the lift in his spirits being visited by VFW men. Thanked F3 group for providing similar encouragement and fellowship in his life.
-Nitro shared story of friend that passed quickly. Queried PAX how they’d approach life if given two weeks to live.
-FNG was christened Niblet thanks to the fact Attaboy ratified it & made YHC laugh and a fitting name for a native Nebraskan (and presumed long-suffering Husker fan).

-Attaboy got his birthday Q vice shirt, Bump Draft has new sweats with his name on the cheeks.
COT:
Don’t overlook the everyday service opportunities you have to those close to you because you are always looking for the high impact service opportunity farther from you. Like Attaboy said, we can all serve each other. That’s a decision we make everyday and an opportunity that’s present everyday. Aye!
