Where were the millipede walkers?

January 30, 2019

WHEN: 01/29/2019
QIC: Cricket
PAX: Rambler, Horny Toad, Grunge, Nescafe, Green Acres, GoDaddy (FNG), Chum

8 PAX assembled at The Rabbit for a fun morning of exploring the path less traveled in BC. YHC had route planned intending to leave the world behind and become one with nature..

Warm Up

After introducing the PAX to a FNG brought in by Green Acres the very necessary, and hastily made up, safety brief was delivered. Still not put off we commenced with:

SSH, Imperial Walkers, WMH, Cankle Stretches

The Thang

The YHC led the PAX to the local trails intending to keep road use to the minimum and fellowship to the maximum. Horny Toad is competing in Forces of Nature and was falling behind on the Merkins, so in an effort to keep the team together each team we encountered a bridge a halt was called and Horny Toad led some Merkins. YHC thinks we got to about 120.

A politeness penalty was instituted, if we were to encounter any of the local community, the PAX were to issue a friendly “Good morning”, if a responding “Good Morning’ was received the PAX had to complete 1 Burpee for each leg encountered I.E. A dog and owner = 6 Burpees. Only 2 walkers were encountered for a fortunately low 4 Burpees.

Luckily no-one was out giving their millipede an early morning leg stretch…….

On reaching the top of the neighborhood, YHC realized that time was running short and the group was getting stretched, so a max effort run back to the AO was called. Serious respect for Grunge completing this and returning to pick up his less fast companions.
