Wednesday Morning Drizzle

It was a wet and dreary Wednesday morning at #thebighouse. On any other morning like this and I would have been back in the sack. Fortunately, I had signed up to Q #thebighouse – and I intended to make the most of it. The gloom awaits. When I arrived I was excited to see the great crowd that made it out on such a wet morning. I had not crossed paths with Sussudio & Bob in a long time – great to see you both.

Warm-Up: At some point in time we did the following warm-up exercises: WMH, Forward Arm Circles, Reverse Arm Circles, Over Head Claps, and 5 Burpees OYO

Main Event: After our warm-up we moseyed south down Great Ridge road to one of the cross streets with the fancy wooden guard rails that all of our future teenage drivers will become aquinted with in the future. At our first guard rail we completed 5 Burpees OYO. Then we moved through a series of urkins, dirkins, and dips.

Next we moseyed further south on Great Ridge to the bridge near the dog park. Instead of proceeding with dog park bear crawls per the original plan – look for that one in the future – we dropped for 5 burpees OYO. Next we found some guard rail and executed 30 alternating step ups.

Moving north on Great Ridge we moseyed to the next cross-street guard rail. We executed 5 burpees in cadence – in a tribute to Splash-Back’s effort to clean-up our OYO burpees. We then moved through a series of urkins, dirkins, and dips.

Moving north on Great Ridge again, we moseyed to the next cross-street guard rail. I believe this is where we sounded like bullfrogs singing (or counting) in the night – Thank you Mrs. Splash-Back for that imagery. We again executed 5 burpees in cadence. We then moved through a series of urkins, dirkins, and dips.

Marry: We moseyed back up to #thebighouse and moved to our “SIX” to execute a series of American Hammers, LBC’s (with the belly tingle’s), and ring of fire merkins.
