What a great day to work out with the kids. By 0815, 30 PAX showed up ready to rumble. Today was exciting for me, because all four members of my family actively planned and led a portion of the workout. Once we got going the M and the 2.0s delivered.

Quick tutorial on Squat and Merkin form for the 8 FNKs and 3 FNMs in attendance.

The Thang

Squat Mosey 4 Corners – Led by Fireman, with 5 Squats at each corner

Bear Crawl Inchworm Race, Kids versus Adults – Kids won, although about 2/3 of the way through they broke form and it was a sleuth race for the final 1/3.

Merkin Mosey 4 Corners – Led by Ledecky, with 4 Merkins at each corner

Tunnel of Love

Squat Mosey 4 Corners – Led by Fireman, 5 squats at each corner

Tauntaun Race – 2.0s climbed on a parent (or a bigger 2.0, hat tip to Houdini and Potter for taking on a smaller 2.0 to help our numbers) across the field. – Led by Snowflake

Hungry Hungry Hippo – 2.0s partnered with another 2.0, adults partnered with another adult around the center circle. With a pile of balls in the center of the circle, each partner group had to wheelbarrow their partner into the center to grab one ball, and wheel back to their spot. Switcheroo. Winning team had the most when the pile was gone.

With that, time was up, so we had to skip Mary.

COT

The Bull – October 26

Prayers for the grandparents that are battling with health issues, and lets wish them the best.

In the Ball of (Wo)Man we talked about the 6, which is the person or people that are in the back of the workout group. In F3, its important to pick up the 6, and support them. When we think of our family, its like a team, or a workout group in F3. When one of our family members is having a hard time at dinner, bed time, or whenever, they’re the 6. As a member of your family, its important to know who the 6 is at that time, and go back to pick them up. Its important to pick up the 6 not only at Romper Room, but at home too.

Thank you for giving our family the opportunity to lead, SYITG.
