Prolly stayed up a little too late toasting the rare Heels win and enjoying one last brew before much-needed Lenten austerity, so perhaps YHC at first was a bit like the weather, which is to say foggy. Then Loonie rolled up to the circle fresh from some EC steel work and advised: “Let’s f— this pig.” Head got right right quick and we got to work. Strong group of men were ready for whatever was thrown at them. And it was really good to have our man Nails back after an extended stint on the IR.
Standard warm-up, to include 10 penalty burpees for tardiness (not Nails) and a lap around the church

-Lined up on base of parking lot. Mode of travel: backwards run. 5 burpees at each island, then 20 derkins on the curb at the top. Plank or pick up six. Recovery mosey back to bottom.
-Backwards run again with 10 merkins at each island, 10 derkins on the curb, plank or pick up six. Recovery mosey.
-Backwards run a third time with 15 jump squats at each island and 15 derkins on the curb, plank or pick up six. Bear crawl to bottom of hill.
-Mosey to steel, circle up
-Original idea was to do overhead press, rows and biceps until YHC got smoked. But that might not have given everyone their money’s worth. So delegated the presses to Loonie, the rows to Coxswain (cause he’s a rower) and the curls to Teo.
-Loonie – 50 overhead presses, with a few overhead holds worked in.
-Coxswain – 45 rows, with three up holds
-Teo – 50 curls, with 10 being slow negatives
-YHC resumed duties for 25 overhead presses, then kept steel overhead for an ROF, five presses each around the circle
-10 rows IC, then up hold ROF with five rows each – traps feeling that one
-30 curls SC
