To the Tennis Courts!

YHC saw Cortés’ Slack message yesterday morning regarding the lack of a Wednesday Q. After seeing multiple Pax Q multiple times in recent weeks, YHC felt compelled to do his duty and throw his name down to lead. For a variety of reasons, YHC hadn’t made it out for a Wednesday Skunk post in some time and it was good to be back. In thinking about what today’s workout was going to consist of, I thought back to my first post at The Skunk back in late May of this year. Looking at the record, our good friend Cortés had the Q that day, and he aptly titled the workout: “Traveling Tennis Courts”. As it had been a while since A) YHC’s last post at the Skunk and B) YHC’s last visit to the tennis courts (5/29/2019), I used that as my inspiration for today’s workout.

Warm-Up
SSH-WMH-Overhead Clap-Arm Circles-5 penalty burpees (shout out MILTON)-reverse arm circles-alternating shoulder taps-BW squats-slow merkins

Thang
Mosey to the tennis courts – a longer distance than I remembered!
Part 1: Suicides – run to the end of court 1, perform 5 burpees, run back to start and perform 5 jump squats. Rinse/repeato through 5 courts
Part 2: Usain Bolts – man on the end calls out an exercise for rest of Pax and then travels width of one court and back. Method of travel was one of the following: bear crawl/crawl bear/crab walk/gorilla walk/walking lunge
Part 3: A Floyd favorite – Escalator – started at one end of the courts, ran down far end and performed an exercise. Once complete, ran back to start and added a second exercise. Rinse and repeato for several rounds until 6:10. At which point we mosey’d back to start for CoT.
