YHC and Stinky Pete planned an 8-mile coupon ruck for today but after a week of sickness and general exhaustion we collectively called it off approximately 10 hours prior to go-time. As much it pained us to cancel, it was the right call. Of course that doesn’t help our PF challenge any but we’ll get it done.

4 PAX + 1 F3Dog arrived at the AO right at 6:01 and we were off.  We had a dog-scare about 1/3 through when Toby leapt 10 feet off of a retaining wall and wiped out hard at the bottom. We kept it simple and rucked the perimeter of BC to Woods then hit the trail head for the final 2-3 miles.

It was painful to call of the coupon ruck with only 1 month left to complete the Pathfinder but it’s important to listen to your body and take the time off when you need it.  F3 is awesome but don’t kill yourself getting after it!
