YHC asked to Q today’s edition of Devil’s Ridge, given that YHC’s F3 birthday was at this very site 4 years ago this week. Feeling a little retrospective and nostalgic, YHC fondly recalls the original site on east campus. But life moves on thankfully, and so does our wonderful organization, which has grown exponentially in the past four years. 26 PAX helped YHC celebrate, which is about 20 PAX more than we had at DR 4 years ago.
Today’s workout, no theme, no plan, no shenanigans or hijinks, just a regular, good old-fashioned, old school beatdown.
Warm up:
50 SSH a la Coco
10 Imperial Walkers
10 Good Mornings
10 slow Merkins
Maybe some others. Did I say that memory was the second thing to go when you get to 50?
ME:
YHC’s Plan A was to do something in the parking deck, but that was so last week. Time to go to Plan B. Mosey to hill, bear crawl up hill, mosey to Cameron Indoor (AKA “House of God”) for dips, erkins, derkins, mosey to Kville, walking lunges followed by Lt. Dan’s, mosey back to Cameron for more dips, erkins, and step-ups, mosey to top of hill, 10 burpees, run down hill with 5 burpees, back to lot.
Mary: 30 flutters, 20 LBCs, 10 6/60s.
COT: thanks to F3 churham for support for me and the Brady boys over the last four years. I remain encouraged and motivated by the PAX, and while I am not sure I have gotten stronger or more fit from it, I have enjoyed every minute.
YHC humbly apologizes for not remembering all the PAX to list in this back glass. They say that memory is the second thing to go when you get to 50.
