Pre-blast: The Afterburn

The Afterburn, a running themed workout, will premiere for F3Churham on Thursday March 2. This AO will be held on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
We will meet at Bull City Running Co (Southpoint Crossing, 202 NC-54, Durham) – One of the owners, Jason Page, has given us clearance to use their bathrooms/changing rooms, shower, and water coolers before and after the workout. Tclaps to Jason for his support of this initiative!
My goal as site Q is to provide regular training opportunities for ALL pax to improve running speed, efficiency, endurance, and enjoyment – you do not have to be a “runner” to benefit from these workouts. There will be a combination of hills, sprinting, long slow distance, drills, tempo, etc…
A watch, although not required, will be helpful. I will try to keep us in places where headlamps won”t be needed.
This workout site will likely only be here 6 months out of the year (March-October) – so get it while you can. And you better believe there will be a shirt… s
