After many weeks of procrastination, today marked the day YHC would tackle the final challenge for Pathfinder 15 Forward. The dreaded coupon ruck loomed and YHC was lucky to have Chum agree to partner up for the bulk of it at Basecamp.

Warm-Up/EC

YHC did 2 miles solo with the 45 lb sandbag to minimize Chum’s level of suck for today. 5:15 departure got me 2 miles in with a few minutes to spare before the ME at 6am.

Main Event

Chum arrived right on time and we waited until 6:01 before heading out. YHC failed in this regard, however, since Germ arrived nearly the same time we left but we didn’t see him before we were off.  Fortunately, we ended up finding each other about 45 minutes into the ME near the Wall AO. YHC and Chum alternated miles carrying the 45 lb sandbag for the bulk of the remaining 6 miles, however, Germ jumped in a bit during the last mile carrying the coupon up the BC Parkway.

Moleskin

When you ruck for hours there’s plenty of time for mumblechatter. Today was chock full of discussions of large rodents called Beavers and the selective morality of humans.  Good times.
