YHC has been missing the home site, Honey Badger as of late. Due to being out of town, or supporting other Qs, I’ve been filling the open spots lately and feeling like a Site Q Slacker (h/t to Beano, Rambler, and Sweatervest for filling in). Friday was my day though, and I brought some new ideas from our Winston-Salem F3 brethren.
At 0530, 8 PAX joined me in the gloom and we got underway.

The Thang
Mosey to the West Side of the Chapel Hill Parking Deck to begin a Deconstructed Dora
Partner up (one group of 3), and knock out Merkins x 100 while one partner climbs the stairs to the top of the deck then back down.
Once everyone completed People’s Chair for recovery.
Mosey to the top of the parking deck, to the East Stairwell.
Partner up again (one group of three), and knock out LBCs x 200 while one partner climbs down the stairs and back up.
At some point someone mentioned about getting wet, with the rain the previous night it was a bit wet. To make sure we extinguished mumblechatter and to make sure both sides were equally wet, we circled up on the top of the deck for a Fire Drill. Standing in a circle running in place, each PAX takes a turn calling “fire drill” and everyone drops down on their 1, roll right into a merkin, roll left into another merkin, back up on your feet. Repeato until all PAX called the fire drill.
Mosey back down the deck to the plaza between City Hall and the City Hall Annex.
Partner up again (one group of three), and knock out 300 squats while one partner runs around the Annex.
Mosey to the Parks & Recreation Admin Building for some new stuff.
Partner Push – Each PAX partnered with another of similar size/weight. PAX faced each other face to face, hand one each other’s shoulders. PAX 1 pushed PAX 2 up the hill. Run down, flapjack, repeato.
Partner Pull – Each partner group was face to face holding hands/forearms. PAX 1 pulled PAX 2 up the hill. Run down, flapjack, repeato.
Mosey towards the flagpole, with a pause on the stairs up to the Annex for Johnny Dramas x 50

All PAX circled up at the flagpole on their 6, with heads in the center. 1 round of Guantanamo.

As mentioned above, I’ve felt like an absentee site Q lately, so it was good to be back as the Q at the ‘Badger. I always appreciate the opportunity to lead, and thank of our brothers that stepped in to Q over the past few weeks.
