Operation Git R Dun

February 15, 2019

WHEN: 02/15/2019
QIC: Fish and Chips
PAX: Nickelback, Pusher, Toast, Nubbin, Milton, Buffay, Cortes, Halfback

Warmup:
SSH, WMH, Imperial Walkers, Arm circles front and back, merkins

Main Event:
Operation “git r dun” was launched at 05:34 with the task of log retrieval. Mumble chatter was non-existent, this was a team with a mission.

Ricky Bobby was mixed with Route 66 as we headed down the river walk. Route 66 is a new to me routine with a string of pearls like structure to it. The PAX run for a bit, then one burpee, run some more then two burpees. The burpee count keeps going up until we get to 11.

I chose Nickelback as the timer as he set an impressive pace in the Ricky Bobby lineup, making short work of getting to the front. We then did the burpee. We covered the ground heading out to the logs more quickly than YHC expected so the burpees had to come more frequently. We arrived at the logs (still there, no one had taken them fortunately), then did ten burpees OYO.

The PAX moved to the logs with just the right PAX / log ratio, 9 of us, four big logs and the one person baby of the bunch. On the way back we mixed in some overhead presses and arm curls, swapping out the heavy log a couple of times although Nubbin was a man on a mission with that little piece of heaven on his shoulders for most of the way back.

At 06:14 the logs were restored to their usual home and the PAX completed their remaining 11 burpees. Operation “git r dun” was dun.

Mary:
A girls name.

The PAX wished YHC good luck with the changes and move to the big city down the road

Moleskin:
F3 has become a very important part of my life – as has been said before, show up for the fitness and stay for the fellowship. The group in Hboro has been especially important to me. I was at the launch of Duck and Weave with about 20 or so others and still remember how Nickelback led us in a historical summary of the importance of May 5th to Mexico. I continued to go back and watched how first Nickelback, then Buffay and Toast built out the Northern Province. Huge t-claps to them and the rest of the group as they continue to grow. I’ll be moving down the road however will always consider this one of my favorite F3 homes. I’ll miss you guys, and I also promise to be back.
