So I’m usually a Falcon guy for the Manmaker EC and, well, it’s closer to home. But I do love downtown and the place that Knope and Happy have created. So I took the few skills I have and headed to the HoneyBadger. Cause, you know, the Honey Badger don’t care.

Warmup
SSH x 25
Hillbillies x 10
WMH x 10
Penalty Burpees x 5
Mtn Climbers x 15
Slow Merkins x 10

The Thang
Since Downtown has so much to see we headed out towards the Carolina Theatre and see some Durham on the way. Stopped at the concrete seats outside which looked like a good place to start.
Boxkins x 20 (box jump followed by back down into a Erkin)
Then a few 7-11s
First the 7s
6 box jumps, 1 burpee – continue counting down until at 1 box jump, 6 burpees
Then the 11s
10 dips, 1 hand release Merkin- continue until at 1 dip, 10 hand release merkins
Once the arms were warm we headed downtown to the parking lot across from farmers market. Did some ELFS BOMB around the 4 corners of the lot.
1st Lap
Run to first corner, Elephants x 10, next corner 15 cadence Line Jumps, 3rd corner 20 x Flanks, back home for 25 squats.
2nd lap
1st corner 10 x Burpees, next corner 15 x Overhead claps, next 20 x Merkins, last on 25 x Big boy sit-ups.
Our trip was running short so needed to head back. But not without one more set of 7 11. 7 rail pull-ups, 11 Erkins. Then continued on home for some MARY.
Misery would be upset if I didn’t throw in some Clemson since it’s football season so MARY was based on the score of the Game that started us on the road to the Natty. It was a victory over Texas AM which is our opponent this weekend. Last year ended in a 28-26 win for the good guys.
28 x flutters
26 x LBCs
28 x box cutters
26 x Freddy Mercury’s
Finished with prayers for the people that were in Dorians path and our brothers running the mountains in the BRR.
Was my pleasure to be out there this morning with such great men. Thanks for letting me lead. Aye!!
