Taking time to appreciate the good in life takes effort. It takes reflection. Sometimes, it takes grit. YHC has been striving to appreciate, embrace the goodness in life, whether humorous or nostalgic. The last few months, after YHC’s father passed, have not been easy and I am just beginning to take hold of the goodness and joy we had.
In that, this morning, PAX took hold of the goodness of the gloom and YHC decided to take the PAX through the history of YHC’s father’s favorite beverage, learning some new Exicon along the way.

Holidays are a tough time for many folks. No man is immune to the Mental Battle. Reach out to a brother. Send a text. Make a phone call. You never know the impact it will make. No man is an island. You are never alone.
Prayers for those traveling during this time.
Nickelback’s CL Thomas Fellowship will be starting up another cohort in Jan. Details to come on Slack.

It is always an honor spending the morning with you all. Thank you for leading lives worth following and for showing up in the gloom.
For anyone who needs it:
2 Corinthians 1:3-5: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
Keep getting after it,
RGB
