Despite what you may have heard, YHC doesn’t love using the garage over at the school of government, but Bump Draft’s stash of cinder blocks is stacked there, so off we went. Several Legends of the Gloom emerged from the piney mist of the North Gate this morning, along with a strong SLT contingent and one Site Q appropriately attired in Jorts.
A Kenan Q carries high expectations, so YHC attempted to appropriately wear out the PAX. A few of them were already worn out from running EC stadium stairs when we started ME at 0545.

SSH IC x 25
Mosey over to Hooker Fields. Starting on the first blue line: frankenstein, high knees, carioca right, carioca left, butt-kickers till we got to the last blue line. Mosey to the garage, find a partner and a cinder block.
the thang
partner A: bear-crawl up the exit ramp, run across the top deck, down the entry ramp, and through the lower deck back to your partner.
partner B: coupon work — 10 squat-to-press, 20 derkins, 20 curls, 20 (each arm) single-arm rows, 20 johnny dramas with block OH.
Partner A is the timer; switcheroo and repeat, no breaks, till each PAX has run 6 times. coupon work picks up where you left off last round, BUT the 10 squat-to-press is your buy-in on every round before you can begin with the other exercises. Hey Q, why do your socks match your shorts? Because all the cool Qs are doing it. Why is there a buy-in of squat-to-press every round? Because all the cool Qs are doing it.
Recover. Stack the blocks and make it nice.
Form up on the last blue line. Travel together from one end to the other, stopping on every solid blue line, as follows:
crab walk
15 diamond merkins (Igloo? YHC’s brain went soft right around here)
bunnyhop
15 jump-squats (Right-Swipe … I think)
crab walk
15 hand release merkins (Ocho?)
bunnyhop
15 slow squats (Big Kat?)
crab walk
15 dry docks (Nightshift)
bunnyhop
15 jump lunges IC (YHC)
Recover. Mosey back to the AO.
