After ten days of vacation and lounging on the beach, it was about time for YHC to return to the gloom with his F3 brothers.
Five intrepid PAX showed up for Aquaman-makers at 5 am.
Warm-up
Lap around the Filbert including bernie sanders, high knees, butt kicks, and skipping.
Circled up in the side parking lot for some harvesters, chinooks, goofballs, angle grinders and mumble chatter from Floyd.
The Thang
Mosey down to basketball court to discover a memory matching game set up on the grid.
PAX took turns picking up two cards (each card had an exercise written on it). If the cards did not match, the PAX had to complete both exercises and return them to the grid. If the cards did match, they were removed from the grid and the PAX only had to do one last round of that exercise.
In-place exercises were completed for 10 reps (IC or SC depending), and traveling exercises were completed on the basketball court.
Floyd, Cosmo and Pong all proved that they can remember where cards are before 6 am—impressive feat. We also learned that everyone hates crab walking, and that shoulders and medical professionals frown on it, and of course, we ended up doing a lot of crab walks based on the cards we chose.
We didn’t quite manage to finish with 32 cards, but we were getting close by the end. Finished with some pull-ups and a mosey back to the start.
CoT
Announcements about RomperRoom (excellent start this past Saturday), The Bull October 26, and the Iron PAX challenge (Everyone sign up and make Churham look good).
Reminder from Cosmo that next Tuesday after #the-piranha we’ll be cleaning up the site (Parkwood Elementary) for the beginning of school.
