It’s been several months since YHC last Q’d a workout. Once school started back, it was full marathon mode leading into the Chicago Marathon. With the marathon now firmly in the rearview mirror, it was time to get swole.
Warm-Up:
- SSH x20
- WMH x12
- Imperial Walkers x10
- Arm Circles x10 forward, x10 reverse
- 10 penalty burpees for Soda’s tardiness
- Merkins x15
- BWS x20
YHC put out the call on Slack to bring weight for the workout. Unfortunately, even with Spot and YHC bringing extras, we did not have enough for the planned workout. No big deal, with a few modifications we still hit it hard. This was a play on the Crossfit workout the Marathon WOD.

Despite Green Egg persistently calling for time over the last several minutes, the PAX got after it until the clock struck 0615.
