When we last saw the Hurricanrana crew we we’re busting out Merkins of all varieties. Recognizing we didn’t “do legs”, since I DO have a heart, YHC decided to do legs today. But, Mr. Brady is Mr. Brady, so YHC snuck in a merkin or two. While we sharpened one another, the mumblechatter about the humidity enforced the reality that summer in North Carolina is here.
Warm up: SSH, power-up Merkins, Hillbillies, Willy Mayes Hayes, good mornings, 20 irkins/15 dips/10 dirkins, 15 irkins/10 dips/5dirkins, 10 irkins/5 dips/3 dirkins
ME: Leg day arrives. As a group alternating among squats, lunges, jump squats while an individual ran approx 100 yards, x 2 sets, with a few merkins between sets
Mary: Q training for Chowdah and Crean, calling out abs: LBCs, heels to heaven, planking.
Circle of Trust: congrats to PAX for Q x 3 for this calendar year, for which site Q ceremoniously “patched” us. Ball of Man followed by name o’rama, prayer.
Because Mr. Brady needs metrics by which to measure life, PAX did approximately 200 squats/lunges/jump squats and 130ish Merkins. YHC remains impressed with and humbled by the moral and physical strength of the PAX.
