Two things happened that I didn’t expect prior to this workout. HBO Max started streaming Boogie Nights, and then the SpaceX launch was very visible from Chapel Hill, which was amazing. My original plan was not what we actually did. I admit that I often allow the concept instead of the workout.
Workout —
Anti-warmup: Ran to Beacon Ridge to perform first ATM (see Exicon); I tried to combine the fame of the fictional Boogie Nights’ star Dirk Diggler with our new HOA requirements.
We performed several ATM’s and done consecutively, they’re tough. We ran down to the OP and turned into the Enchanted Forest for some BOMBS.
50 dirk diggler burpees or picklepounder burpees; 100 IC peter parkers; 150 merkins; 200 plank jax; and 250 dry docks — we had to cut a bit short because Brotox saw the SpaceX launch and it was INCREDIBLE!! It looked like it was launched from Wilmington. We were in a perfect spot to view it clearly. If I would have taken the launch, and the possibility of seeing it seriously, we probably would have had a large number of PAX.
We didn’t finish the dry docks. Boyardee led us in a few Mary exercises as we got closer to the AO–I believe American Hammers, and then we did a few more burpees once we arrived back at The Wall.

By the way, I’m not sure how we moseyed, but it was probably closer to 2 -plus miles.
