Who has the q today? Y-O-U has the q and you have the q and you have the q. Today was the first one in January where we try to build leaders by allowing them to lead. Every pax that showed up today had to call out an exercise and newbies who have never led at paradise did one exercise followed by one mary exercise. Here is the workout.

Vice led warmarama

15-SSH, 10 forward arm circles with a calf stretch, reverse and switch legs. 10-Michael Phelps, 5 upright and 5 with flat backs. 10 in tempo WMH.

Community q time and Main Event

Quicken- started us off with Mountain Climbers IC

Brotox- step back lunges IC

Spooky- Bear Crawl to the wall and then 10 balls to the wall hold OYO

TFR- (tried to leave at first when I told him he had the q)- but came through with some Imperial Walkers IC

Green Acres- promised us Yes/No/Maybes and instead we did something else my brain doesn’t recall- Greenie had to message me and for record keeping safe- we did 41 SSH in cadence- Greenie isn’t 41 but perhaps he had a reason for the 41??

Disc- we did an AYG up to the top of the hill and a Bernie Sanders back to the AO

Shark Tank- 15 walk it out merkins- this is a 6 count walk your hands out 1,2,3 and then down and 4,5,6 walk back to upright

Squeeze Box- Another big lap with a mosey halfway and then 15   4-count Freddie Mercury’s with a mosey halfway and an AYG back to AO

Vice- Partner up- Partner one does merkins while partner two gets up the stairs- we did this twice

Singlet- We did 25 forward arm circles- 25 reverse- keeping the arms up 5 seal claps followed by 5 overhead claps

Uzi- led the PAX through 10 dreaded Seal Burpees- Uzi is really good at these while the rest of us may have taken one or two off to watch and catch our breath

Atta-Boy- Freddy Mercury’s IC

Maraschino- Army crawl through the field to wall and then 10 Australian moutain climbers on wall

Catskill- This was a catskill special- it’s called absolution and it’s in the exicon- for whatever reason, I always get lost on these but they are are tough burpee-Maktar Njie core thingy

Elwood- Bear Crawl IC 1,2,3 and then stop and do some merkins, Diamond, 1,2,3 bear crawl, wide grip, 1,2,3 bear crawl then regular, 1,2,3 bear crawl back to diamond 1,2,3 bear crawl to regular

Gold-N-Boy- 15 IC American Hammers

We did one fellowship lap

Mary- All new guys had to lead one more exercise

TFR- Flutter Kicks

Disc- Toy Soldier Planks

Squeeze Box- Bicycles- Freddy Mercury’s without the arms

Atta-Boy- Pulled out some side plank leg raise things that I think I should really practice as these were really really difficult. I attempted to do 10 of these each side but I’m pretty sure after the first five, his dog was just laughing at me by now.

COT- since we had no real q and no one stepped up to take us out, everyone went around and gave one word that was significant to them. For me it was community. We are better together and until I see you next time AYE!
