This is the day of the first of hopefully many at Lake Hogan Farms, the new site of Hogan’s heroes. As I write this backblast, I am disappointed that I didn’t reference the TV show or do some army crawls during the workout, but it was fun to be at a new location. Laces Out and Malware are going to do great as site Qs and they already got a brand new FNG to show up and he ended the workout talking about tomorrow sites to workout, so welcome stratego.

The Warmarama: 20 SSH, 10 WMH, Arm Circles, Michael Phelps, 10 slow squats, 10 tempo merkins, 10 twerkins

The Thang: We moseyed over to the playground and split into 3s. Partner 1- max pullups, Partner 2- monkey humpers, Partner 3 was the timer as they did a bear crawl out and mosey back- We rotated twice through each exercise

Back to the parking lot for some block work. With an FNG- I wanted to make sure that we kept it simple and went through a good variety of exercises and a full body workout so here is the block exercises. There were 14 Pax so we did sets of 14 reps of the following exercises.

Kettle block swings- Single arm rows each arm, Curls, Arnolds, Overhead Press

We took a neighborhood stroll as a recovery lap and then rinsed and repeated for 14 more of all the exercises

Next, we went down to the tennis courts for some F3 dodgeball burpees. We played a couple of rounds of this but in the dark, it was tough to see the ball or the honesty on those who either got hit or actually did the burpees.

The fun was coming to a close but I wanted to introduce the blockie to our newest member and so after a brief demonstration we completed 14 blockies. We then put the blocks away and returned to our circle for some Mary.

Mary: Hurricane Hoedown- If you haven’t done this yet, it’s ridiculous, how easy it sounds but how difficult it is to complete. After this, we did 5 sets of 3 count dying cockroaches.
