Downtown Pittsboro was particularly hopping with activity this morning at 05:45 as several PAX emerged from the gloom. YHC brought several coupons and noticed the PAX eyeing them cautiously wondering what awaited.

PAX were asked to pair up and YHC joined a group of two since there was an odd number. Each pair grabbed a coupon (YHC’s heavy balls and some random weights) and moseyed to the courthouse circle.
Tortoise and Hare BOMBS
PAX work as a pair. Partner 1 rucks around the circle carrying a coupon. Partner 2 starts the first set of the exercises. Once Partner 2 finished his set he runs to catch Partner 1 and they exchange the coupon. Partner 2 then rucks and Partner 1 works on the exercises. Each partner does 5 sets of each exercise before moving on to the next. BTW, this made for some great mumblechatter!
B – Burpees (5 sets x 5 reps x 2 PAX) = 50
O – Outlaws (5 sets x 10 reps x 2 PAX) = 100
M – Merkins (5 sets x 15 reps x 2 PAX) = 150
B – Big Boy Situps (5 sets x 20 reps x 2 PAX) = 200
S – Squats (5 sets x 25 reps x 2 PAX) = 250 (We actually didn’t get to these because we ran out of time)
Mosey back to the AO carrying the coupons.
