Full Moon Pre-Thanksgiving Extravaganza

November 18, 2021

WHEN: 11/18/2021
QIC: Brotox
PAX: Loonie (Respect!), Muck Out, Swamp, Cardiac, Knope, Count Chocula, Cosmo, Awesome Baby, Floyd, Castaway, Cherry Baked, Bellhop
Whenever I make the trip up to Tobacco Road, I always walk away impressed…what a great facility and a great group of PAX.    For today’s workout, I planned to take some of those sweet black turf pellets back with me from SoDu to Chatham County.  With Thanksgiving only a week away it was a perfect time to show the PAX how thankful I am by breaking out my T-H-A-N-K-S-G-I-V-I-N-G workout, first performed at #paradise in 2019.

Warm-Up

The usual stuff…Side Shuffle Hops, Willie Mays Hays, Overhead Clap/Seal Clap Combo, Slow Squats, Slow Merkins, Calf Stretches, etc.

The Thang

After warm-up, we moseyed to the turf field to begin the Thang.  Between each of the following exercises we moseyed from one corner of the field to the next.  For the third and final trip around the field, we started each movement with a bear crawl or crab walk to the midpoint and then finished it with a mosey.  As always, the first to arrive held plank or slow squat until everyone arrived.

COT/BOM

We’re 6 weeks from the end of 2021 (well, 6 weeks and 1 day).  Now is the perfect time to finish off those goals you set for yourself in 2021 and also to start thinking of what goals you might have for 2022.  Even better, you can get a 6 week head start on those 2022 goals!  Aye!
