YHC challenged himself to come up with some different exercises this morning — which led to a deep dive into the Exicon and various regional backblast archives — and was glad to see a friendly dozen PAX eager for the experience on a chilly morning at The Big House.

BOMBS was the chosen workout. A set of the five exercises at each of the three corners of the parking lot, followed by running the long lap on streets around the AO. Add another rep after each set.

YHC then challenged the PAX that, if they were tired of the chosen exercises, to come up with others using those letters. Merkins, shoulder taps, bear crawl (IC, of course), overhead press were some of the replacements. Burpee suggestions were vetoed.

Pretty clear parallel between trying new exercises and being willing to try new things outside the gloom. Easy to get in a routine, if not a rut, and breaking out of that can be rewarding. Aye!
