After a very successful joint Q for a portion of The Bull CSAUP earlier this year, Elf and I discussed plans to partner up again to Q a workout. Our first attempt to join forces was at The Battering Ram a few weeks go, however, that fell through, albeit, for a very good reason, as Elf signed up to ruck the Travis Manion 5K that same morning. Undaunted, I scanned the calendar and suggested we co-Q the infamous 61 Minutes of Pain at West End. Little did we know that we were on the board to usher in the double nickels cake day for our brother, Big Kat. Big day calls for big action…

And as the emperors of ancient Rome used to proclaim with great pomp before the brave gladiators entered the Coliseum of Doom…”Boombadius, goeth the Dynamitium…”

INTRO

Griswold and YHC were greeted by Miss A upon arrival at the AO. She kindly asked if it would be alright for her group to share our spot by the building as it may provide a bit of shelter from the rain. I told her to please go ahead and take the spot because if it is going to rain, then we have every intention to be out in it.

Plans to engage in some last minute recon scrapped as brothers began filing in. Greetings/Fist Bumps.

I) THEATER OF ELF

Mosey to the far end of the parking lot by the Green Monster. Partner up, size does not matter.

DORA 1

  • Partner 1 runs the length of the Parking Lot to the Fence. Hit 5 Dips. Run back.
  • Partner 2 performs WWIIs AMRAP until Partner 1 returns.
  • Flapjack
  • Repeato until teams complete 55 Dips and 110 WWIIs, combined.

DORA 2

  • Partner 1 runs the length of the Parking Lot to the Green Monster/Gazebo. Hit 5 Pull Ups. Run back.
  • Partner 2 performs Burpees AMRAP until Partner 1 returns.
  • Flapjack
  • Repeato until teams complete 55 Pull Ups and 110 Burpees, combined.

Plank Hold variations until everyone is done.

II) THEATER OF GRUNGE

Mosey back to StartEx – Parking Lot. Circle up.
