AMRAP Thanksgiving Day Parade

Four PAX for The Butcher EC. Nothing like pushing the sled to get warmed up on a fine Thanksgiving morning. We were joined by three more PAX for the ME. Great to see Chum post for his first AMRAP workout! Loved seeing a new face out there.

Warm-up:

  • SSH
  • Arm circles
  • BWS
  • Merkins

The Thang:

AMRAP circuit training.

Seven stations:

  1. Sled push
  2. Tire flip
  3. 95# Olympic bar
  4. 115# Farmer carry handles
  5. 40# Ruck + 50# kettlebell sumo squats
  6. 60# sandbag rows
  7. 40# sandbag reverse curls
  • 1st round: 60 second AMRAP
  • 2nd round: 45 second AMRAP
  • 3rd round: 30 second AMRAP

The finisher: AMRAP Thanksgiving Day Parade. Parade with farmer carry handles from field to Woods parking lot. Each PAX carried to failure and then passed off to the next PAX up. Once we got to the parking lot, parade around the parking lot circle–passing handles around while making four trips around the parking lot circle.

YHC closed us out in prayer. Thanksgiving message: Be thankful for our freedom in this country to worship and live the way we want to.
